Thumbnail Resizer

Upload one master thumbnail and export it at YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook sizes — or a custom width and height. Pick a single size for a direct download, or several for a one-click ZIP, all in your browser.

How to use this tool

  1. 01

    Upload your source thumbnail

Use the highest-resolution version you have; it's resized in your browser and never uploaded.

  2. 02

    Select target sizes

Tick one or more presets or set a custom width and height; multi-select for cross-posting.

  3. 03

    Download

One size downloads directly; multiple sizes come back as a single ZIP.

Why this matters

Promoting one video usually means the same thumbnail at four or five specs — 1280×720 for YouTube, a 1:1 for the Instagram grid, plus Twitter and Facebook card sizes. Re-exporting each one by hand in a design tool is repetitive, slow, and easy to get subtly wrong, and inconsistent crops make a campaign look sloppy.

This tool resizes your master image into every selected spec in one pass with a consistent center-crop, hands back a single file or a ZIP, and never uploads anything. When two targets have very different aspect ratios, resize handles the close ones and the Thumbnail Cropper gives you control over the framing on the rest.

FAQ

Resize when the target sizes share a similar shape — 1280×720 down to a 1200×675 or 1200×630 card keeps the same landscape framing and a center-crop barely changes the composition. When the ratio changes a lot, like 16:9 to a 1:1 Instagram square, a straight resize either squishes the image or crops out half your subject, so those usually need an intentional re-crop or redesign. Treat near-ratio sizes as a resize job and far-ratio ones as a crop job with the Thumbnail Cropper.
