We’re giving hand drawn cells, computer animation, stop motion, claymation, anime, fairy tales and cartoons their due. Here are our picks for the Top 10 Animated Movies of All Time.

The great thing about animation and the thing that keeps it tricky to categorize is that it’s not a genre, but a style. An aesthetic choice by a filmmaker the same as a film stock.
